Instructions
Shortbread Biscuits
Pre-heat the oven to 180℃/160℃ Fan.
Mix together the softened butter, icing sugar, plain flour and vanilla extract until you get a breadcrumb consistency.
Use your hands to form a smooth dough.
Roll out the dough to around 1 inch thick and cut small circles.
Place onto a lined baking tray and place them in the fridge for 30 mins to firm up.
Then place them into the oven at 160°C for 15 mins.
Once baked, remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
Toppings
Cover the biscuits with salted caramel and leave to rest for 10 mins.
Cover once again with melted milk chocolate and allow the cookies to rest so that the chocolate hardens.
