M&M Cookies

Soft, chewy and golden brown cookies with crunchy and chocolatey M&M's

Ingredients
  

  • 125 g Unsalted Butter softened
  • 100 g Brown Sugar
  • 75 g White Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 150 g M&M’s reserve a few to place on top of the cookies
  • 265 g Plain Flour
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt

Method
 

  1. Whisk together the softened butter and both sugars.
  2. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and whisk until combined.
  3. Then add in the M&M's and fold until combined (reserve a few M&M's for the topping of the cookie).
  4. Sift in the plain flour, baking powder, baking soda and fold until combined.
  5. Use a medium sized ice-cream scoop or roll out 75g dough balls and place into a lined baking tray.
  6. Using the reserved M&M's, place a few on the cookies before baking.
  7. Place into the refrigerator for at least 30 mins to harden.
  8. Then place into a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 14 mins.
