Kinder Bueno Cookie Pie

A heavenly dessert creation that combines the flavours of Kinder Bueno chocolate bars with the comforting appeal of a classic cookie pie.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g Unsalted Butter softened
  • 200 g Brown Sugar
  • 125 g White Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 325 g Plain flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 200 g Milk & White Chocolate
  • 1 tbsp Nutella
  • 1 tbsp White Chocolate Spread
  • 3 Kinder Bueno

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, sugar and brown sugar.
  2. Add in the egg, salt and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  3. Sift in the plain flour, baking powder and baking soda and mix until combined.
  4. Add in the chocolate chips and mix until they are evenly combined in the mixture.
  5. In a 7 or 8 inch tin cake tin, scoop 2/3 of the mix into the tin and flatten on the bottom and on the sides of the cake tin.
  6. Add a layer or Nutella, followed by a layer of white chocolate spread and then add a layer of Kinder Bueno chocolates.
  7. Use the remaining cookie dough to create a lid for the pie (my video above will demonstrate how) and cover the tin with cling film.
  8. Freeze for 2 hours or overnight and then bake in a pre-heated oven 180°C for 25 mins. Allow it to cool in the fridge for at least an hour before slicing and decorate as you wish.
