Method
- Whisk together the butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add in the egg yolk and vanilla extract and whisk until combined.
- Sift in the plain flour and fold until combined. You may have to use your hands to combine and bring the dough together.
- Roll small dough balls and place on a lined baking tray.
- Flatten the balls with your hand and then using your index finger, create a heart shape in the centre.
- Fill the heart with your jam of choice. Place in a pre-heated oven at 170°C for 15 mins.
