Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bread
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Splash of Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Brown Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Honey to spread

Method
 

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg, vanilla extract, milk, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
  2. Dip both sides of the bread slice into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated but not overly soggy.
  3. Heat a small amount of butter or oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  4. Cook the soaked bread for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Transfer to a plate and spread or drizzle honey over the top while it’s still warm.
