Fried Chicken Burger

A crispy and delicious homemade fried chicken burger recipe

Ingredients
  

Marinade

  • 1 Cup Milk
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 Egg
  • Squeeze Lemon

Chicken

  • 500 g Chicken thighs

Coating

  • 1 Cup Plain Flour
  • ¼ Cup Cornflour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Cajun Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Start by making the marinade by adding all of the ingredients into a bowl and mixing until combined.
  • Add the chicken thighs into the marinade and cover with cling film. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 2 hours.
  • Make the coating by mixing all ingredients into a bowl and set aside.
  • Once marinated, take one chicken thigh and place into the coating mix.
  • Dip back into the marinade and then back into the coating.
  • Fry in oil for 5-7 mins until the chicken is cooked and the coating is crispy.
  • Allow to rest for a few mins before serving.
