Date Bark

This viral date bark is a delicious no-bake treat made with sweet dates, creamy peanut butter, rich dark chocolate and crunchy toppings, finished with a sprinkle of sea salt for the perfect sweet-salty bite.

Ingredients
  

  • 10–12 medjool dates pitted
  • 2–3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 150 g dark chocolate at least 70% cocoa, melted
  • ΒΌ cup chopped peanuts
  • Flaky sea salt for garnish

Method
 

  1. Line a small baking tray or container with parchment paper.
  2. Press the dates open and flatten them with your fingers or the back of a spoon.
  3. Arrange them in a tightly packed layer to form the base.
  4. Evenly spread peanut butter over the layer of dates.
  5. Gently pour melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
  6. Spread it evenly with a spatula or spoon.
  7. Top with chopped peanuts and finish with sea salt
  8. Place in the fridge or freezer for 30–60 minutes until set.
  9. Cut into squares or shards. Keep stored in the fridge for up to a week.
