Crumbl Cookies

A soft and crumbly cookie with a creamy and sweet cream cheese icing.

Ingredients
  

Cookie ingredients

  • 70 g Brown Sugar
  • 70 g Sugar
  • 115 g Butter melted
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 220 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt

Cream Cheese Frosting ingredients

  • 90 g Butter softened
  • 90 g Cream Cheese
  • 250 g Icing Sugar

Instructions
 

Crumbl Cookies

  • Pre-heat the oven to 175°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Whisk together both sugars together with the melted butter.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla extract and whisk.
  • Sift in the plain flour, cornflour, baking soda baking powder and salt and fold until combined.
  • Roll 50g dough balls and place onto the baking tray; refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Ensure the dough balls are spaced out as they will spread and place into the oven at 175°C for 12 mins. Allow to cool completely before decorating.

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • Whisk together the butter, cream cheese and icing sugar for around 5 minutes and then add in the vanilla extract and whisk until combined.
  • Add in the food colouring and mix until fully combined.
  • Pipe the mixture onto the cookies and pour on some sprinkles.
