Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan).
- Mix dry ingredients, then stir in melted butter.
- Add milk gradually to form a thick, firm mixture.
- Press into a lined 8x8 tin evenly.
- Sprinkle sugar over the top.
- Bake for 22–28 minutes (slightly longer as it’s thicker).
- Cool slightly, then slice.
