Chocolate trifle

Moist and chocolatey cake layers layered with decadent chocolate cream and crowned with chocolate chunks.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Chocolate cake (small, store bought)
  • 600 ml Double cream
  • 1 packet Chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/2 tin Sweetened Condensed milk
  • 4 Chocolate bars (twirl)

Method
 

  1. Whisk together the cream, condensed milk and chocolate pudding mix until it forms a thick consistency.
  2. Cut the cake into pieces and layer a trifle dish with the cake.
  3. Spread on a layer of the chocolate cream mixture and sprinkle over 1/3 of the chocolate chunks.
  4. Repeat this process twice until the mixture is finished.
  5. Cover with cling film and place in the fridge for an hour before serving.
