Brown Butter Cookies

Rich, chewy and delicious chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 115 g Butter
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 150 g Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 185 g Plain Flour
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • tsp Salt
  • 100 g Chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bar

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat the oven at 175°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Brown the butter in a pan (be careful not to burn the butter).
  • Mix the sugar, brown sugar and butter in a mixing bowl.
  • Add in the egg, vanilla extract and salt and then whisk in the flour and baking soda.
  • Add in the chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
  • Create dough balls using a medium ice cream scoop or measure 75g dough balls.
  • Allow the dough balls to chill in the fridge for 30 mins.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven for 12-14 mins and allow to cool slightly before tucking in.
