Pre-heat the oven at 175°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Brown the butter in a pan (be careful not to burn the butter).
Mix the sugar, brown sugar and butter in a mixing bowl.
Add in the egg, vanilla extract and salt and then whisk in the flour and baking soda.
Add in the chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
Create dough balls using a medium ice cream scoop or measure 75g dough balls.
Allow the dough balls to chill in the fridge for 30 mins.
Bake in a pre-heated oven for 12-14 mins and allow to cool slightly before tucking in.
