Top tips when making Protein Oat Cookie

Adjust water slowly: Add 1 tbsp at a time to avoid overly wet dough.

Don’t overbake: It continues cooking slightly as it cools. It’s soft and gooey which makes it perfect.

How to make Protein Oat Cookie

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
  • ½ ripe banana, mashed
  • 1–2 tbsp water (adjust for consistency)
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1–2 tbsp chocolate chips (or chopped dark chocolate)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Dash of cinnamon or vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mash banana in a bowl.
  2. Mix ingredients:
    • Add oats, protein powder, peanut butter, and water.
    • Stir until a thick dough forms (add a bit more water if too dry).
    • Fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Shape into a large cookie:
    • Place the dough onto the tray and flatten slightly into a cookie shape.
  4. Bake in the air fryer at 180C for 7 minutes, or until golden at the edges and just set in the middle.
  5. Cool slightly before enjoying, it’s best warm!

Storage tips

Best Fresh: This cookie is best enjoyed warm and fresh out of the air fryer.

Short-Term Storage: If needed, store in an airtight container for up to 1 day at room temperature. Reheat slightly before eating.
