Day 14 of Ramadan Recipes 🌙 is a cheesy and delicious lasagne. It’s far from authentic but this is how I like it, plus I’m south Asian so it would be weird for me not to add in some spice. I was really happy with how this lasagne came out and I hope you enjoy! #ramadan #recipes #foodtiktok #iftar #lasagne #cheese #dinner

Top Tips when making this Pakistani style lasagne

Cook the Masala Properly
Wait for the oil to separate when cooking your onions and tomatoes, it’s the key to deep, layered flavour.

Use Pre-Boil or No-Boil Lasagne Sheets
Saves time and blends better with your meat sauce when baked.

Let It Rest Before Slicing
Rest for 10–15 minutes after baking so the layers set and cut cleanly.

Don’t Skip the White Sauce
A simple cheese or béchamel sauce balances the spice and makes the lasagne creamy.

Mix Cheeses for Topping
A blend of cheddar and mozzarella gives you both flavour and that perfect melty, stretchy finish.
