Loved by kids and adults alike, these are the perfect for parties, bake sales, or just a cosy treat.

Top Tips for making Chunky Kinder Cookies
Use Softened Butter, Not Melted
Room temperature butter helps create the ideal creamy texture during mixing.
Don’t Overmix After Adding Flour
Overmixing can make cookies tough so stop as soon as the flour disappears.
Chill the Dough
At least 30 minutes in the fridge helps the cookies hold their shape and stay thick. I like to keep in the fridge for an hour but 30 minutes should work if you’re low on time.
Top with Extra Chunks Before Baking
Press a few extra Kinder pieces on top of each dough ball for that bakery-style look.
Underdone = Perfect
Take them out when the centres look slightly under baked as they’ll continue to cook on the tray.

Ingredients
- 115g unsalted butter, softened
- 100g brown sugar
- 50g white sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 190g plain flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 100g Kinder chocolate, chopped (use the Kinder dupes!)
- 50g milk or dark chocolate chips (optional, for extra chunks)
Instructions
1. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
5. Gently mix in chopped Kinder pieces and chocolate chips, if using. Don’t overmix.
6. Cover and chill the dough in the fridge for 30–60 minutes to help the cookies hold their shape and stay chunky.
7. Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C fan) / 350°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
8. Scoop large balls of dough (about 2–3 tbsp each), place on the tray spaced apart, and bake for 12–14 minutes or until the edges are golden and centres look slightly underdone.
9. Let cookies cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. The Kinder chunks will be gooey and delicious!

Storage tips
Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Fridge: Dough can be chilled for up to 48 hours before baking.
Freezer: Freeze shaped cookie dough balls for up to 1 month. Bake from frozen, adding 1–2 minutes to the bake time.
Reheat Tip: Warm baked cookies for 5–10 seconds in the microwave for that fresh-out-of-the-oven gooeyness.
