Why you’ll love this recipe for Cookie Dough Overnight Oats

Tastes Like Dessert for Breakfast
It has all the indulgence of cookie dough, with the goodness of oats and protein to keep you full.

No-Cook, No-Fuss
Just blend, mix, chill, and enjoy, there’s no stove or microwave needed.

Packed with Protein
With 30g of protein powder, it’s perfect for post-workout recovery or a satisfying start to your day.

Great for Meal Prep
Make it the night before for a grab-and-go breakfast that’s ready when you are.

Customisable & Allergy-Friendly
Swap ingredients (like almond flour or peanuts) to fit your dietary needs or flavour preferences.

Top Tips

Blend Dry, Mix Wet
Blending the dry ingredients first ensures a smoother, creamier base without clumping.

Use Cold Water or Milk for Creaminess
Water works great, but milk (dairy or non-dairy) adds extra creaminess and richness.

Don’t Blend the Chocolate Chips
Stir them in after blending to keep that authentic “cookie dough” texture.

Adjust Sweetness to Taste
Add a little extra honey or a dash of cinnamon if you like it sweeter.

Let It Chill Properly
At least 2 hours is fine, but overnight yields the best texture and flavour.

Ingredients you’ll need to make Cookie Dough Blended Overnight Oats

  • 40g Oats
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 30g Protein Powder
  • 1 tsp Peanuts
  • 15g Chocolate Chips
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 10g Almond Flour
  • 175ml water

How to make Cookie Dough Blended Overnight Oats

Blend the Base
In a blender, combine all of the dry ingredients. Pour into a bowl and add in the vanilla extract and water and mix until fully combined.

Add the Mix-ins
Stir in the chocolate chips by hand (don’t blend them for that cookie dough bite!).

Chill Overnight
Pour the mixture into a jar or container, seal, and refrigerate overnight (or at least 2 hours) to thicken and develop flavour.

Serve & Enjoy
Stir well in the morning. Optionally, top with more chocolate chips, a drizzle of nut butter, or a sprinkle of sea salt for a dessert-like finish.

Storage tips

Fridge: Store in an airtight jar or container for up to 3 days.

Meal Prep Friendly: Make several portions ahead of time to cover busy mornings.

Stir Before Serving: Always give it a good mix in the morning as some settling is natural.
