Ingredients you’ll need to make Red Velvet and White Chocolate Cookies
- 125 g Unsalted Butter softened
- 75 g Sugar
- 100 g Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Red food colouring
- 200 g White Chocolate chips
- 265 g Plain Flour
- 20 g Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1.5 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
How to make Red Velvet and White Chocolate Cookies
- In a mixing bowl, mix together the softened butter, sugar and brown sugar.
- Add in the egg, vanilla extract and salt and mix until combined.
- Add in the red food colouring and salt and mix until combined, followed by the white chocolate chips.
- Sift in the plain flour, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa powder mix until you get a smooth. cookie dough.
- Roll out 50g dough balls and place in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 1 hour before baking.
- Pre-heat the oven and bake the cookies at 180°C for 12 mins. Let the cookie rest for a while before transferring over to a wire rack.
- Optionally, drizzle with melted white chocolate and enjoy!
