Snickers Brownies
Snickers is one of my absolute favourite chocolate bars because I love the chewy, peanut and caramel flavours. In my opinion, it’s the best chocolate bars to add to cookies, brownies or cheesecakes as it has such a versatile flavour profile. I made these brownies for my family and it was the best reaction I’ve ever received to a batch of my homemade brownies. I layered brownie batter, caramel sauce, snickers bar pieces, brownies batter, chocolate and more snickers bar pieces. I know that sounds like a lot but trust me, each component makes the brownies taste extra delicious. I made my own caramel sauce for the first time and it actually tasted great (although it was harder than I thought it was going to be!).
Why you’ll love Snickers Brownies
- Layers of Flavour:Snickers brownies has so many different flavours! You have the rich, fudgy brownie layer, the creamy caramel and nutty crunch of peanuts.
- Caramel and Chocolate goodness: The combination of gooey caramel and velvety chocolate is amazing.

Ingredients you’ll need
- Butter – The best option is unsalted butter at room temperature as it will blend together well with the rest of the ingredients. If your butter is hard, then put in the microwave for around 20 seconds. Just until it gets soft, you don’t want it to be runny.
- Sugar –Granulated or caster sugar will work. I just use whatever I have at home so there’s no need to buy caster sugar specially.
- Eggs – Room temperature eggs work best for baking brownies.
- Chocolate – I used melted milk chocolate for the batter but you can use with dark chocolate instead for a richer and more decadent flavour. I personally thinkg milk chocolate tastes nicer.
- Vanilla Extract – Don’t skip the vanilla extract. It’s such a simple way of making your brownies so much more delicious and professional tasting!
- Salt – Adding some salt to brownies will balance all the sugar that’s been added, so don’t skip this.
- Plain Flour – Plain Flour/ All-purpose flour is the best choice for brownies.
- Cocoa Powder – Adding both cocoa powder and melted milk chocolate gives the brownies a rich and chocolatey taste.
- Snickers – You’ll need chocolate bars for the centre of the brownies and a few to go on top.
- Milk Chocolate – Use your favourite milk chocolate for the topping of the brownies (it’ll make the world of difference to the flavour!).

- Chop Snickers Bars Thoughtfully: When chopping the Snickers bars, I decided to cut them into thin strips so that they would cover the surface of the brownie. I wanted to get a piece of Snickers in every bite.
- Caramel Swirl: Add a caramel swirl in the brownie batter before baking. This will add extra caramel flavour to the brownies and give them a more fudgy texture.
More tips
- Cool Before Cutting: Let the brownies completely cool in the pan before cutting. This helps them set, making it easier to achieve clean, neat slices.
- Refrigerate for Easy Cutting: For clean and easy cutting, refrigerate the brownies overnight or for an hour at least before slicing. This is especially helpful if your brownies have a gooey caramel layer.
- Experiment with Toppings: If you’re feeling extra adventurous, consider adding additional toppings like a chocolate ganache drizzle, a sprinkle of sea salt, or a dusting of powdered sugar. These extras can take your Snickers brownies to the next level.
- Let the Flavours Meld: Allow the brownies to sit for a few hours or overnight before serving. This allows the flavours to blend and intensify.
